Dead is so last year is one of my favorite books of Marlene Perez. In this book Daisy's two sister and mother can read minds, also other magical stuff. There home town Nightshade is full of magical people just like them witches vampires werewolves and doffergangers. Doffergangers are not aloud in Nightshade and some has been making them when Daisy see her father who has been gone for over 10 years. If you see your other self you'll die so who was making them? Daisy and here werewolf boyfriend Ryan find out who and why there are doggergangers in Nightshade they never expedited it to be a teacher at there own high school. When Daisy and Ryan follows her doffdad into a rundown house they find  Dr. Frankens research laboratory. As Dr.Franken is put away go away for along time as Daisy mom calls them saying she has found her long lost father had been found but is it really him.
